This is the Magicka Necromancer for the Flames of Ambtion DLC for the Elder Scrolls Online.
Magicka Necromancer is definitely the most wanted class to bring in all magicka based groups for PVE content. It is the only source of Major Vulnerability in the game, from the colossus, and also does great damage. Not that the Necro has really struggled with sustain recently, but this patch has given us even more sustain. This is a great class to learn for all DPS players and not a bad idea to have one ready to go at all times.
This video, like all of my videos, will showcase the double inferno staff setup. Siroria Daggers are the most dps at the moment, but I know that a lot of people do not have that gear. This videos are to show that good damage is possible, even without the best gear. The biggest change to this setup is that we are now running a poison damage glyph on our backbar, rather than the traditional weapon/spell damage glyph.
We have swapped to the Thief Mundus stone, rather than the Shadow. If you are running a very high crit build, you may be able to sneak away with running the Shadow Mundus. But, when in doubt, just run the Thief.
For the race, I chose the Khajit. This is completely personal preference at this point. Damage is really close between High Elf, Dark Elf, and Khajit at this point. So if you are one of these already, it is not the end of the world if you don't want to race change.
The Champion Point System received a HUGE change this path. Be sure to watch videos on his change and do some testing on your own. We are learning more every day so changes are bound to come.
Skills:
Front Bar - Detonating Siphon, Inner Light/Flex Spot, Scalding Rune, Stalking Blastbones, Avid Boneyard, Shooting Star
Backbar - Skeletal Archanist, Barbed Trap, Degeneration, Mystic Orb, Unstable Wall of Elements, Fiery Rage
Rotation:
In this video I am running a completely static rotation that was created by Sparrow. It is a very bar swap heavy rotation, which I love, but it may take some getting used to if that is not something you normally do. It also doesn't have a spammable. If you want to switch out a skill for a spammable, you could swap out your Scalding Rune for Skulls or Force Pulse. It's not a huge dps loss if you do this, definitely still above 90k.
Start:
Arcanist - Trap - Destro
Repeat:
Blastbones - Boneyard - Unstable
Blastbones - Rune - Orb
Blastbones - Siphon - Degen
Blastbones - Arcanist/Trap - Rune
Your ultimate order will be Destro, Shooting Star, Shooting Star, and finally a Destro during the last 25 percent of the fight.
I will typically drop my Shooting Star in place of a Rune during the middle of the parse.
As you are approaching the very end of the parse, around the 100-200k, you will stop casting any dots and finish the fight using just Blastbones, Rune, Siphon, and Wall. Rune takes a bit to arm, so make sure you are casting that first if possible. Wall and detonating siphon have an instant cast so use those when you are waiting for your Blastbones to hit.
Champion Points:
40 Precision
50 Fighting Finesse
50 Backstabber
13 Piercing
40 Flawless Ritual
30 War Mage
40 Battle Mastery
30 Mighty
50 Thaumaturge
50 Biting Aura
Slottable Passives:
Fighting Finesse
Biting Aura
Thaumaturge
Backstabber
Don't forget your Rejuvenation slottable in the red tree. You'll want that extra mag recovery
In fights where you won't be flanking the boss, you would swap out your Backstabber Slottable for Deadly Aim
Gear:
Perfected Siroria Inferno Staff - Precise w/ Flame Damage Glyph
Maelstrom Inferno Staff - Infused w/ Poison Damage Glyph
Mother's Sorrow will be your other set
7 Divines LIGHT Body Pieces
All 3 Bloodthirsty Jewelry pieces
You want your Siroria to only be active on your front bar, and your Mother's Sorrow to be active at all times.
This is a fun one, so enjoy and good luck.
