This video shows a nudibranch Gymnodoris sp. (thought to be G. bicolor) moving on the sea bottom at Baie des Citrons, Nouméa, New Caledonia, probably looking for food. According to Nakano & Hirose (2011) or Knutson & Gosliner (2022), Gymnodoris species are predatory nudibranch and they feed on other smaller nudibanch species, some Gymnodoris species feeding exclusively on a single species (e.g. Nakano et al., 2007). In addition to sea slug predation, they can also practice cannibalism, and fish-fin parasitism (Knutson & Gosliner, 2022).
