Today is our final day of nice and warmer weather for a little while. The strong cold front arrives early Thursday morning.
Wednesday will be nice with highs in the mid 70s and partly cloudy skies. Rain moves in tonight, mainly after midnight. There could be a few t-storms, but most just see showers overnight with temperatures in the 60s.
Thursday morning the cold front blasts through and then the chill is on. Thursday will be drier in the day, but still cold, windy and cloudy. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 40s with wind chills in the 30s. Thursday night another round of moisture moves through the region. This is when we'll have to watch for ice north and west of the lake. This is where temperatures could drop below 32 degrees by Friday morning. You'll want to check the weather before you head out the door Friday morning. For now it looks like the southshore stays above freezing, so just liquid rain Thursday night.
Friday will be cold and windy with a cold rain through the day. Highs will struggle to get out of the 30s.
The weekend stays very chilly with cold mornings. We'll need to watch for hard freezes Saturday and Sunday mornings north of the lake. Temperatures are forecast to fall into the mid 20s north of the lake. South and west of the lake will need to watch for light freezes.
