On October 17, 2017, the fashion world lost one of its brightest stars, Mychael Knight, "Fashion King." Mychael was a contestant on Project Runway 3 and appeared on Project Runway Allstars 3. Last fashion season (SS18), his best friend and Project Runway Allstar Alum, Korto Momolu debut "The MKKM Experience," during NYFW. This season (SS19) Korto has curated a collection of Project Runway Allstars, and some of Mychael's favorite designers from the Project Runway series (Christopher Palu, Kimberly Goldson, and Edmond Newton), to pay tribute to Mychael Knight - and some designs that he was working on before his death will be unveiled on the biggest fashion stage for the first time
