Android Pie 9.0 BETA Program for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 so Atlast the official confirmation from Asus is here regarding pie update and this time actually for the first time on Zenfone max pro series they are taking beta testers but become a beta tester at your own risk as there may be data lose and you may have to root your device and plus you will not be able to downgrade unless you leave the beta program

I understand that there could be unexpected data loss during the Beta program
• I understand the warranty is no longer valid if I root my device, and will have great chances to encounter issues
• I agree that ASUS will not provide downgrade service for beta testers, unless beta power users encounter serious bugs or would like to quit the beta power user.
• I understand that only some Beta firmware can be downgraded to certain version
• I understand that if I downgrade, certain applications will have error and there can be complete data loss
• I accept the risks associated with using pre-release firmware
• I will not disclosure any beta testing confidential information during the beta testing period
• I agree to follow all the bug/feedback report instructions provided by Asus
• I understand that I will have to perform a complete device backup before installing a Beta Firmware
• Beta Pie software – Some generic features on Android Pie may be missing, which will be upgraded gradually
• AI scene detection may be added in the due course
