India's Electric Vehicles (EV) industry is experiencing significant growth, particularly in the two- and three-wheeler segments, with over 300 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) involved. This surge anticipates a substantial influx of used EV cells from the automotive sector in the next few years. However, India currently lacks programs or policies to develop a second-use industry for these cells. Addressing this challenge requires a dual approach.
