The Director of Criminal Investigation Ndegwa Muhoro has warned politicians against using hate speech remarks saying they will face the full force of the law during the electioneering period.
He said he is going to deal with those found inciting members of the public with more force than the ‘Pangani six,’ where politicians were remanded for three days and charged with hate speech offences.
He spoke at Malindi Marine Park after holding a security meeting ahead of the August General Elections, he said detectives have been trained to monitor hate speech during the campaign period.
