The Sarmatians began to migrate westward across the Don River around the late 4th century BC. A territory which was inhabited by the Scythians. And so the events began to unfold once again as it has always been. With the migration of the new nomads, the former had to fall so that the latter could rise. And this is exactly what happened when the Sarmatians came to the region west of the Don River. This video is about the rise of the Sarmatians and then the consequent fall of the former nomads of the region, 'The Scythians'. We will explore in detail the movements of the Sarmatians and then their domination, till their eventual decline as the Huns began to arrive westward from the East.
