This is the video portion of our submission for the high school level of the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge ([ Ссылка ]). This challenge encourages student teams to identify an energy-related issue that has local, national and global implications and provide a viable solution. Working together with the facilities director of our school, we identified a pressure difference in our incoming water that could be exploited to produce energy. We suggest that installing hydro-microturbines in water lines of various buildings on campus could be a cost-effective way to produce energy and reduce pressure. In order to educate people around the world about our project, we helped produce this video along with another student at Catlin Gabel School.
