The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) is in your neighbourhood building the future Arbutus Station. With the completion of the dismantling and removal of both tunnel boring machines (TBMs) this summer, the traffic configuration on W. Broadway, Maple and Cypress streets will change beginning August 12. In addition, the Arbutus Greenway detour via Cypress Street will also reopen for cyclists. Throughout this work, we remain committed to keeping residents and businesses updated on our progress as we advance this major transit infrastructure project in your community. "

Note: The notice from December 13, 2023 includes similar work and we have updated details to share.
The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) is in your neighbourhood building the future Arbutus Station. Over the coming months, crews will be pouring concrete as they continue to build the underground station. On Friday, June 28, the first roof concrete pour will take place on W. Broadway, between Cypress and Maple streets, with the concrete pump setup starting around 5 a.m. Approximately 85 trucks will be involved in this pour.
In the following months, a series of major concrete pours of varying volumes will occur on W. Broadway between Arbutus and Cypress streets to construct the underground station. "
