Peter Dutton’s speech on China at the National Press Club was an “effective contrast” to the “kowtowing” seen from former PM Paul Keating, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Dutton today laid out in detail the Chinese military build up, and Beijing’s refusal to abide by the norms of international law,” Mr Kenny said.

“The Defence Minister explained how his goal was peace and security but that it could only be delivered through strength and alliances.”
