Hello!
I’m Willem and I’m currently traveling around Europe alone after self converting my 2001 Volkswagen T4 Transporter! I decided to quit my job after working for 8 years for Volkswagen, working my way up to sales manager however 50+ hours a week and every Saturday was too much as I wanted to see the beauty Europe had to offer and in particular it’s mountain ranges and lakes.
So join my journey as I head into the unknown and adapt to VanLife, avoiding parking tickets, campsites and tourists as much as possible as I try to reach the highest peaks and find some unknown gems to share with you all.
I’ve met so many cool and interesting people already and shared some memories which will last a lifetime and I’m sure there’s more to come. There’s already been so much happening in my short time away so subscribe to follow along!

ON THIS VLOG
After being on cloud 9 (literally) in the Italian alps with the mint expedition lads it was back to solo VanLife and what better place to recover than by Lake Garda. Or at least I thought until I stepped on a piece of glass within 10 seconds of being in the water at Garda! So I took a few days to recover and then moved through the lake and up north the to Italian dolomites. I started my journey with a bit of bouldering at val di fassa and then moved on to Sella Pass for a few days of thunder and got my first 2 peaks in; Plattkofel and Col Rodela.
