Liverpool have made contract extension offers to Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, both of whom are in the final year of their current deals at Anfield, reports Sky Sports.

Salah, who has been in superb form this season with 15 goals and 12 assists, has received an initial offer to extend his contract beyond next summer. Despite previously suggesting this could be his final year at the club, the Egyptian forward is said to be keen on staying at Liverpool.

Van Dijk, another key figure for the Reds, is also expected to agree to a new deal, with both players set to remain integral parts of Liverpool.
