This is my review of the @rodemic Podmic USB. A surprisingly awesome dynamic broadcast microphone which has some excellent hidden features. It offers both XLR and USB connection options but also has a high-gain Revolution Preamp and APHEX digital signal processing technology packed inside which results in ultra low noise capture. The Rode PodMic USB is plug and play on a variety of devices and I used it here while hooked up to my phone to demo just how easy and impressive that is. Or you can download the various apps ( RØDE Connect, RØDE Central, RØDE Capture and UNIFY) and use it with those. Alternatively you can use and XLR cable and hook it up to something like the Rodcaster Pro 2 for superior audio options.
