Today, Dubai Creek Harbour is considered as a potential competitor to Downtown Dubai, representing a new dynamic center of urban life in the real estate sector. This project is attractive both for investors and for future residents and tourists. It is planned to create an outstanding architectural work — Dubai Creek Tower — with high-tech hotels, shops and restaurants, surpassing the famous Burj Khalifa skyscraper and becoming the tallest building in the world. An extensive shopping and entertainment complex will unfold at the foot of the tower, which will surpass other significant facilities such as Downtown Dubai and Dubai Mall in size.
This project is being implemented in stages and includes the development of the areas of Creek Island, Creek Beach and Dubai Square. Creek Island is almost completed, with residential skyscrapers, luxury hotels VIDA HOTEL and ADDRESS HOTEL, an artificial marina, an extensive park and an elegant promenade. In Creek Beach, 50% of the facilities have already been built, mainly representing medium- and low-rise residential complexes with an equipped sandy beach, picturesque embankments, pedestrian zones and public parks. Unlike Creek Island, which is aimed at active people and young people, this part of the project is intended for families who prefer a calm and measured lifestyle.
Preliminary work on the construction of the Dubai Creek Tower has already been carried out in the Dubai Square area, and in the future it is planned to create 750 thousand square meters of retail space, several hotels with more than 1,500 rooms and residential complexes with more than 9,000 units. The Creek Island Central Park with fountains, children's play areas and a skate park is also fully prepared in the area. The Creek Marina Yacht Club not only provides yacht parking, but also organizes a variety of themed events. Modern residential complexes are equipped with their own facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, game rooms and tennis courts, while luxury hotels offer access to elegant spas and fine restaurants.
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, a popular wintering spot for pink flamingos, is located near the area. The reserve is also home to over 450 species of birds, reptiles, mammals, crustaceans, fish and flora. There are three wildlife viewing points around the reserve, open to the public during the daytime.
The southern part of Dubai Creek Harbour opens onto Al Khail Road, one of the main thoroughfares of the city, bypassing the Ras Al Khor Nature Reserve and stretching almost through the whole of Dubai. Thanks to this, you can quickly reach key points such as Business Bay, Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport in 10-15 minutes, DIFC in 20 minutes, and Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab and Dubai Marina in 25 minutes. The project also includes the construction of a road bridge over Dubai Creek, which will connect Dubai Creek Harbour with the Al Jaddaf area and other locations in the west of the city.
It is planned to expand the green line of the metro to Silicon Oasis and Academic City, including one of the stations in Dubai Creek Harbour. A water taxi already connects the area to locations along the Dubai Water Canal.
The social infrastructure of the area is actively developing, and although Maple Bear Kindergarten, Spinneys and Geant Express supermarkets, pharmacies, beauty salons, shops and restaurants are currently represented, further expansion is expected. Schools and medical centers are within easy reach, including Nadd Al Hammar Health Center, Latifa Women and Children Hospital, Deira International School and Universal American School are 10-15 minutes away. The nearest Nesto hypermarket can also be easily visited in 10-12 minutes.
