Tributes were paid tonight to the five Dallas police officers shot dead during a Black Lives Matter protest on Thursday. Lorne Ahrens, 48, Michael Krol, 40, Michael Smith, 55, Brent Thompson, 43, and Patrick Zamarripa, 32, were remembered at an emotional candlelit vigil outside Dallas City Hall. During the brief ceremony, police chief David Brown (inset) compared the slain officers to Superman and vowed to take care of their families.
