Recorded at Champ's Clock Shop in Douglasville, GA: [ Ссылка ]
"Japanese Children" is definitely one of the most unique timepieces ever released by Rhythm. It was available both in the USA and Japan (known as "スモールワールド合唱団" or "Small World Choir") in 1995 and 1994 respectively, and it is the only Rhythm clock to feature this peculiar motion and music. For years, this clock was an enigma to many enthusiasts outside of Japan because of its rarity and the lack of information about it. At the top of the hour or when the monitor button is pressed, an opening jingle plays as the clock dial rotates completely around to reveal four Japanese children holding bells. They bow and greet you before singing one of six cheerful melodies as they move and dance. At the end of their song, they bow and say farewell, and a closing melody plays as the dial rotates back to its original position, where the clock then counts the hour. Love it or despise it, it's definitely one of the most interesting battery-operated clocks ever made.
