Raja Ampat is one of the most biodiverse marine areas ever studied. It has a vast array of corals, fish, mollusks, pelagics, as well as beautiful macro flora and forna, it is a truly stunning part of the world to dive. Raja Ampat is home to 7 marine protected areas (MPAs) that make the Birds Head Seascape, a huge network of MPAs designed to make sure that local people and the marine environment live in harmony with each other while protecting the marine environment and their endangered inhabitants.
