A super quick video I took of a patch I happened into while playing around with the new layout of my modular synth. I consider this to be pretty close to Lofi Hip hop, which I understand is all the craze right now. I didn't intend to make this initially. I was experimenting with sending multiple oscillators through an SEM filter for those sweeping sci-fi style synth lines and added the Pico Voice(still set for chords from my last session), which then gave me a little groove. Add in a little hip hop drum groove for instant concentration music. I wanted to share this patch before I took it apart. I recorded this quickly on my phone and didn't have a chance to EQ the sound or anything, it's straight from the mixer. The pops and cracks are the sounds peaking the Mixup mixer on the modular, which doesn't have a lot of tolerance for that. Next time I'll look into running the sounds through a compressor which would help.
