A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch 21 Starlink internet satellites at 10:47 p.m. EDT (0247 UTC) this evening from pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. If all goes according to plan it will be SpaceX's 62nd orbital launch of 2023, breaking the record number of launches set by the company last year. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on the drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions' in the Atlantic Ocean. The booster is making its 10th flight.
Our live coverage from Cape Canaveral, with commentary by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith, will begin about an hour before launch.
