Irish heritage, Celtic style, Gaelic heritage....they all share some common themes and motifs. By picking the right accessories for your daily outfits, you can easily incorporate Celtic flair any day of the week - even on those days you can't wear a kilt.

Good Celtic style, like any other, relies on high quality choices. A novelty t-shirt you pick up at a Celtic festival can be fun, but it should not be a go-to for your self expression.

Reach a little further into the artistic motifs of your ancestors. Celtic knotwork is probably the first thing that comes to mind. Knotwork can be incorporated into any number of items you use every day such as leather goods and metal jewelry.

Tartan is another classic choice - a tartan necktie or tartan scarf adds smart, old world style. If you can't kilt up, throw on some tartan in another way.

Finally, consider items of clothing that are timeless - things you can feel Irish men from fifty or a hundred years ago wearing. The Irish flat cap is an easy option that never goes out of style. Another is tweeds such as a vest or jacket. And then there's our favorite - the Grandfather shirt (also called grandad shirt or Irish banded collar shirt). Together, these three items can create a really natural and manly Irish look for everyday wear.
