Google announced its upcoming Android Go platform (supposed to debut with Nokia 1 at MWC 2018) at Google I/O last year and they have been steadily releasing Go variants of their apps in preparation. They have launched YouTube Go, Google Go, Files Go, Maps Go, Google Assistant Go, Gboard go and Gmail Go recently. Well, we tested the Go apps and compared their app sizes, RAM usage to their regular counterparts.
