I've tried to stay away from the III's for as long as possible haha. Why did I do that? There are too many! All the Stripes(no/black, red, blue, green, purple), all the options(KRG, DRG, HRG, SRG, and more) it's mind numbing. Honestly there are just no other amps that are as exciting as the Mark series IMO. I reserve the right to change this opinion if something else comes up :)

Here's my first Mark III! Red Stripe. Most folks say this one is closest to C+ when you search around online, so I had to grab this one. I have a blue stripe in for service as well.

My initial opinion of the Red Stripe:

It can get similar to the C+ as far as sound goes(all Marks are), but the feel is much different. This is the most stiff feeling Mark Series I've ran into so far. Could be tubes, or maybe need service, or maybe that's just how this amp is? Will keep you all updated! Share your Red Stripe Experiences below!
