This is part 2 of our visit to Ribchester, where we explore Roman Museum, the Granaries remains, St-Wilfred's church yard, playground and the cafe with its arts and crafts.

Roman fort was established in Ribchester in early 70s AD. It was an auxiliary cavalry fort. The significance of the place was due to its location on the crossing point between Roman roads going from North to South and from West to East.
