Benson Amps may be best known for their iconic amplifiers, which have quickly become a staple of most impressive rigs in the 2020s. The Preamp Pedal featured here is the preamp from their famed Chimera amplifier, but the tubes are replaced by FET transistors. Despite the switch, this provides supreme amp-like gain, ranging from boost to distortion, with flexible control over treble and bass. Slightly compressed, crunchy, and always three dimensional, the Preamp Pedal will no doubt get high remarks in the upcoming reviews!
