The creator of Downton Abbey has paid tribute to Dame Maggie Smith, saying she was a "great genius" and a "joy to write for".
Julian Fellowes told Sky News he was "very pleased" to give her a "busy last act" as the Countess of Grantham in Downton.
He also worked with her on Gosford Park, which won an Oscar for best original screenplay.
