She talks about some systemic issues within healthcare that contribute to burnout and how we can train the next generation of healthcare providers to change the culture of medicine.
Dr. Ricker is director of Integrative Medicine in Residency at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and professor of Family and Community Medicine at the UArizona College of Medicine – Tucson. She is passionate about medical education and helping physicians at all levels and training learn to care for themselves as healers.
