This video is the last video from the London trip on May 27th, and me and Timothy’s last spotting location is on the Chiltern Main Line, at Wembley Stadium.
Wembely Stadium is a Chiltern Railways operated station with 2 platforms.
The station opened on the 1st of March 1906, and was named Wembley Hill.
In May 1978 the station was renamed to Wembley Complex, and finally in May 1987, it was renamed to the name we know today, Wembley Stadium.
The three letter station code is WCX.
On the day recording this video, the EFL Championship Play Off Final was playing inside Wembley.
It was Coventry City vs Luton Town, which ended 1-1 and went to penalties where Luton won and got promotion to the Premier League.
Firstly congratulations to Luton for getting promotion, you earned it after a amazing season, but to Coventry City I am sorry to see you lose, but I think you have what it takes to go up next season, if you can somehow keep your best players.
Also what’s weird is Luton will be playing Brighton on the opening day, so I might be seeing Luton Town fans in Brighton on August 12th, but it depends if I’m out and about.
Anyway, back to the trains.
