Ireland's Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, has called upon US President Joe Biden to help broker a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, highlighting the Irish people's compassion for the Palestinian community.
Varadkar made these remarks during his speech at the St. Patrick's Day reception held at the White House on 17 March, where he stood alongside President Biden.
In his address, Varadkar emphasized the significance of striving for a two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
