It is an astute and hilarious perspective on how we understand and misunderstand each other in our strange country - that is shape. A stage production written by Steven and Kate Sidley and directed by the hard working Greg Homann. The play uses the backdrop of a Joburg gym to explore issues of race, gender, politics, relationships between three South Africans who are serious about looking good and staying healthy. Apart from it's great use of humour and the warm venue that is the Auto & General Theatre on the Square, SHAPE has the compliment of a sharp cast that includes veteran actress Camilla Waldman and modern day hit Nyaniso Dzedze.
