The text Esposito is reading --"Immunization and Violence"-- was first published in 2008 as a chapter of his book 'Termini della politica. Comunità, immunità, biopolitica' (Milan: Mimesis Edizioni). For this lecture, it was translated to English by Timothy Campbell (also present at the lecture). The whole book was later translated to English as 'Terms of the Political: Community, Immunity, Biopolitics' (Fordham University Press, 2013).
