May 6 through May 12 is recognized as National Nurses Week. It's a time set aside to honor the nurses keeping communities healthy. However, hospitals and clinics across the country are still facing a shortage of nurses in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But one nurse at Novant Health in Charlotte tells Lexi Wilson she's hopeful for the next generation of nurses.
