Corrections Officers Basic Training Academy
Corrections Officers exist to protect and serve their communities. Working as a Correctional Officer is a cat and mouse game. For every technique that is developed to find contraband, an inmate is going to find a way around it.
Corrections Officer Training Academy offers insights into how to become a corrections officer, working as a Correctional Officer, what training can and can't prepare you for when you do your first cell search, the first time an inmate stares you down, or the first time you have to bring someone to the floor. The Correctional Officer Training Academy will give you a good foundation, but you will be expected to develop on-the-job experience and common sense.
This combination allows Corrections Officers to develop their natural strengths to supplement each other when they work as a team. Our training program will help you develop leadership skills, as well as the knowledge and tools needed to gain employment in corrections and advance you in your career.
But it will never prepare you for your first body cavity search.
