In November, a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court gave the benefit of doubt and acquitted all 3 accused in the Chhawla gangrape-murder case of February 2012. Nicknamed "Anamika" by the media, the girl had been abducted and her body found days later in a field in Haryana. Her family has now approached the Supreme Court with a plea to review its November verdict. India Today's Aneesha Mathur speaks to the family and lawyer Sandeep Sharma. Apart from Anamika's parents, social activists and the parents of Nirbhaya also came to the Supreme court to seek justice for the victim of the chilling crime.
