The 2023 edition of Latin America’s largest defence show, the LAAD Defense and Security International Exhibition, kicked off in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday. Exhibitors presented equipment, services and technology from 20 sectors across the defence and security industry.
The Italian Iveco Defense Vehicle Centauro II, alongside a helicopter, VT4 battle tank, VN1 Wheeled Armoured Vehicle and a Centauro II tank, could be seen in the footage. Remote controlled weapon systems (Remax) with advanced monitoring equipment and weapons including rifles, machine guns and pistols were also shown.
Around 300 companies representing 40 countries took part in the exhibition this year.
