The American revolution was a battle between the British empire and the colonists of America. The American people would join the militia on both sides, which meant that some people join the British side, and some people join the American patriot side. When the soldiers joined the militia, they were issued a musket, which was the main battle weapon of the 1700s. This was a unique time for American, Army and military history. 
This event was at the Battle of Blackstok’s Farm in Union, SC.
