A review of NCL Star category S6 Deluxe Owners Suite, room 12002. We had the pleasure of enjoying this room on a 10-day cruise from Iceland to London in June-July 2022. This 3-bedroom suite has breathtaking views with floor-to-ceiling windows looking forward and starboard. Coming into the fjords in Norway the views from this suite were stunning. We viewed whales multiple times along the northern coast of Iceland, all from the comforts of our room. The room is one deck above the bridge so it has the same view as the Captain. This is a large 3-room suite, around 732 sq ft. The bedroom has a king-size bed that looks directly over the bow. We found the bed extremely comfortable and the room quiet. There is no balcony in this room but we did not miss having a balcony on this cold weather cruise. There is one other suite on the port side with the same layout, room 12502. The two suites in between are 12000 and 12500, they are also Cat S6 but have a different layout. Some of the amenities we enjoyed with 12002: a butler, concierge, 3 bottles of alcohol of your choice plus all-you-can-drink mixers, soda, and water, 2 hair dryers (one in the bath and one in the bedroom), plenty of outlets, 2 separate closets, a safe, a mini fridge, 3 TVs, and a jetted bathtub. I loved the jetted tub which has its own TV and fiber optic stars on the ceiling, it was so relaxing. The couch and chaise are comfortable. The dining table for 4 features one of the best views on the ship for enjoying room service. There is a thermostat in each room (3 total), and we were able to maintain a comfortable temperature. With this suite comes priority escorted embarkation and disembarkation, and specialty dining for breakfast at Moderno and lunch at Cagney's. The service from the crew could not have been any better. We really enjoyed the views, perks, and space that come with this suite and would book this suite again without hesitation. Curt, PremierOneTravelLLC
