Hello! Today's video is an easy asian spicy sauce recipe which you can use in a variety of ways.
We made Eggplant Sambal Balado. It is a Southeast Asian Chilli Recipe, easy to make at home and your go-to for that Southeast asian touch!
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1:23 Chop red chillies, small onions, tomatoes and eggplants into smaller pieces.
2:17 Add 2 tbsp of oil in a hot pan. Add in red chillies, small red onions and garlic. Fry for 3-4 mins until golden brown.
3:15 Add tomatoes and fry for another 3 mins until they soften.
4:00 Transfer mixture to a blender and blend away!
4:29 Pour mixture back
into the same pan.
Add kaffir lime leaves and cook for 3 mins on low heat.
5:15 Season with 1/2 tsp white pepper, 3/4 tsp salt and a pinch of sugar. Adjust accordingly.
5:45 Deep fry eggplants in hot oil until golden brown.
6:15 Assemble! Add belado sauce to the fried eggplants and mix well.

5 Eggplants
4 Tomatoes
70g Fresh red chillies
12 Small red onions
6 Kaffir lime leaves
1/2 tsp white pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1 pinch of sugar
