Friday 26 December 2014 marked twenty years since the South Gippsland Railway commenced operations on a section of the former South Eastern mainline between Nyora, Korumburra and Leongatha. At a total of 36km in length, the SGR is the longest preserved railway in Victoria.
The anniversary specials consisted of Clyde/EMD diesel electric Y135 hauling a mixed consist of goods and passenger rolling stock through the picturesque rolling hills between Korumburra and Leongatha. This video features the second train of the day at various locations along this line.
