Today there are almost 20 mills on danish island of Bornholm, some of which are still in operation. The Gudhjem mill is Denmark's largest windmill and the Årsdale mill is the oldest Danish windmill still in operation. Egeby Mølle between Bodilsker and Aakirkeby is the most iconic of the three remaining windmills on Bornholm. Melsted Mølle stands in a field in Melsted. The wooden post mill is also known as Tejn-Mølle.
