Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who has been residing in self-imposed exile in London since 2019, has received a diplomatic passport from Pakistan. According to sources in Nawaz Sharif's family, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has granted him a diplomatic passport for a five-year period. Nawaz Sharif is the senior brother of Shehbaz Sharif, the current prime minister, and is also the PML-supreme N's leader.
