$11 billion in food benefits were overpaid during 2022… and now the government wants to force low income Americans to give it all back.
In a recent video, I told you about how the Social Security Administration is clawing back billions of dollars in overpayments from low income seniors and people with disabilities… and now it looks like the federal government wants to do the same thing with food stamps too.
We need to ACT NOW and tell our lawmakers to NOT support Senator Ernst's Snap Back Inaccurate Snap Repayments Act. After all, 80% of these overpayments are the result of government error and states are already overburdened with paperwork.
