Did you ever wonder what the red warning light looks like on a W211 when the SBC brake pump fails? I noticed that my iCarsoft scan tool displays this failure "visit workshop" warning light and beeping when the tool is connected to the SBC module when scanning it. As soon as you disconnect the tool, the warning stops. My SBC pump was just replaced at my local MB dealer for free under the extended warranty. All SBC pump codes are clear now since the replacement.
