On International Women’s Day City, University of London invited leading experts to discuss the very current issues surrounding women's appearance in the workplace.

In the debate “Women in the workplace: what does professional look like?” our panellists discussed what is a discriminatory professional dress code in the eyes of the law and where do the boundaries lie? and why is women's appearance in the workplace an issue in the 21st century?

The panel were Dr Florence Sutcliffe-Braithwaite, Angela Jackman, Charlotte Proudman and Nicola Thorp. The event was chaired by Professor Lis Howell.
