The Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin in Poland started interdisciplinary 4-year education of the first doctoral students on October 1, 2019. Until now, in the Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin study almost 150 PhD students on two parallel pathways – held in Polish and English language.

The comprehensive educational program of the Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin offers multidirectional preparation of young scientists for independent functioning in the domestic and foreign scientific environment and high development of research skills. PhD students’ study in modules – scientific, didactic, competences and individual, in which they personally chose the subjects and courses matching their scientific interests.

Joining PhD program at the Doctoral School of the University of Szczecin is possible for Polish and international students willing to move to Szczecin for at least 4 years (we assure a monthly scholarship for I and II year – over 2500 pln gross per month (around 600 USD) and for III and IV year – over 4000 pln gross per month (around 900 USD).

Beside studying at the Doctoral School and performing your research in one of the 18 scientific disciplines among humanities, social sciences, medical and health sciences, and exact and natural sciences, we also propose taking part in various mobility programs, such as Erasmus, Prom and Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Our Doctoral School is a double winner of a PRODOK prize, for the most prodoctoral University in Poland.
