The Gigantes Islands often called the islands of giants or Islas de Gigantes, are a distant group of islands off the coast of the Philippine towns of Carles and Estancia in northeastern Iloilo. From Iloilo City, it takes at least 5 hours to get there.

The Gigantes Group of Islands in Iloilo are more difficult to reach than most popular tourist spots in Iloilo because of its location. Nevertheless, Gigantes continues to draw tens of thousands of tourists yearly who want to see its unusual seascapes. The primary jump-off locations are the villages in the towns of Carles and Estancia, which can be reached by land from all of Panay Island's major transportation hubs, including Iloilo, Roxas City, and Boracay.

The islands have exquisite white sand beaches, an abundance of fresh seafood, and angular rock formations that are cloaked in supernatural legends, according to the local folklore. Gigantes has maintained its own charm and is still relatively underdeveloped in comparison to Boracay, Bohol, and other popular tourist spots in the Philippines, despite the rise in visitor numbers in recent years.

There are many things to do here, including taking a stroll along the beach, island-hopping, touring an antique lighthouse, and taking in the breathtaking 360-degree views of the ocean. Additionally, you may do swimming, caving, and spelunking.
