Polling for the high-stakes Telangana assembly elections began at 7 am on Thursday. The state is set to witness a triangular contest involving the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Congress. Voting was underway for all 119 constituencies and the vote counting would be taken on December 3.
