Alternating Half Hitch:
Using two cords of equal length
Use right cord to tie 1 half hitch knot around the left cord, work knot up
Use left cord to tie 1 half hitch knot around the right cord, work knot up
Repeat until desired length
Variation on Alternating Half Hitch:
Using two cords of equal length
Use right cord to tie 1 half hitch knot around the left cord
Use left cord to tie 1 half hitch knot around the right cord approx 1-2 cm down cord, do not work knot all the way up
Repeat until desired length
Continuous Vertical Lark's Head:
Using two cords, working cord at least 4x the length of holding cord
Direct working cord in front of holding cord then behind holding cord then feed it forward through the loop that creates, work knot up
Direct working cord behind holding cord then in front of the holding cord then feed it backward through the loop that creates, work not up
Repeat until desired length
Half Hitch Spiral:
Using two cords, working cord 5-6x the length of holding cord
Use working cord to tie half hitch knot around holding cord, work knot up
Repeat using working cord to tie half hitch knots as each knot begins to form a spiral around the holding cord, until spiral has reached desired length
Simple twist:
Using two cords of equal length
Take both cords and begin twirling them around each other, holding the cords tight
Once the twist is desired length, secure at the bottom with a knot or work cords back into the rest of your project
