I found myself on a remarkable journey as the only woman amidst a sea of male vendors and buyers at the timber market. Determined to procure the perfect door frames for my summer-hut project, I stepped into uncharted territory, breaking gender norms in the process. The curious gazes and whispers surrounded me as I navigated through stacks of timber, assessing the quality and durability of each piece. As I made my final selection and walked away with the perfect door frames, I left an indelible mark on the timber market, paving the way for future women to confidently tread the path less taken.
