A clash is brewing in the Town of Lysander over whether the historical way of recording meetings is outdated. Currently every Lysander Town Board meeting is recorded on video and posted on the town's official website. In addition, the Town Clerk will take written minutes of the meeting. Those minutes are transcribed and also posted to the town's website. Now there's talk of doing away with the written minutes of public comments and Town Board discussions.
